The country decided to take the new forum on after the the old forum became buggy and broken. The King says that "The new forum looks more professional and I hope it will last as long as its predecessors, if not longer. The country has already seen a burst in activity from the old guard, but there is a lot of pressure to really breathe new life into Hamland. New people is vital for our country because in order to keep it alive we have to look at our involvement in new communities, in new projects and new ways to get people interested and active in Hamland".
The flag has been altered so that the star originally in the middle has been removed to create an easy to draw and recognisable design. The star design however remains as the King's personal flag.
Hamland usually recieves a boost at this time of year and usually sees a new forum created every couple of years. This is the third forum Hamland has had as it nears the fourth year of its inception.
