MillenniumNews once again has had the opportunity to interview Ocia’s opposition leader and notorious military strongman, Kolya Radchenko, who in light of forming a new Ocian nationalist political movement, provided insight into his vision for the future of Ocian Politics.

Kolya: Hello, and welcome to my home, please sit and make yourself comfortable.

Anya: Thank you, you have a lovely home. Where shall we start?

Kolya: Let me start by addressing the orientation of our newly founded political party. The ONPP or Ocian National Patriotism Party was formed by me and my adjutant, Major-General Vostrikov, as a side to our Nationalist agenda we formulated for the betterment of Ocian society. Throughout the recent years, Ocian society has seen a steep decline. The lack of national unity, namely, and the fallen sense of pride and patriotism in our nation. This truly wasn’t what the Ocian government was expecting after the war time, but when the enemy hides within the shadows, towards the common person, the enemy becomes unclear and they blame the government. I, myself, am an Ocian patriot. There are now extreme political sects within Ocia, the communists, anarchists and other advocates of national disarray, and the nationalists, patriots and true Ocians, whose national pride has remained unquestioned even during domestic hardship.

Anya: It seems that you care a great deal for restoring Ocian national pride. You mentioned the lack of national unity; can you elaborate on this further?

Kolya: Yes, during the post-war months, Ocian national unity has become tarnished and is falling apart. Many Ocians, who may not have understood the situation, blame the government which I proudly serve, and continue to serve. We had not provocated the Ashkenatzi’s into war, it was them that declared their hostile intentions by annexing our territory in Amokolia, them and their brainless tool Jess Heimer. We fought as hard as we possibly could to counter their aggression, but in the end game, their arrogance and misguided notions of a strong army were smashed during their failed invasion of the homeland.

Anya: What are the long term goals of the ONPP?

Kolya: Well, we have outlined an idea presented to us by our party organizer to raise awareness of the leftist agenda to dismantle the Ocian government and reinstate extremely liberalized governments with aims to sell Ocia out to foreign powers. The ONPP, allied with other Ocian nationalists, will be a firm and sturdy barrier against their interference. Many public gatherings and demonstrations such as speeches and rallies will hopefully lift this demoralizing and negative tone most Ocians have towards their country.

Anya: One of your key platforms is to strengthen Ocia’s military and judiciary systems, can you explain further on why this is paramount to your party’s beliefs?

Kolya: Very simply put, if we have a stronger military and more consequential judiciary, Ocian’s will feel safer. For the Ocians who perhaps have taken a criminal’s path of violence and self-destruction, this will be a crucial bulwark to their way of life, thus giving Ocian people a reason to turn away from such a life. Aside from that fact, I have served in Ocia’s fine military for a long time, and have been promoted to Generalissimo, Chairman of the National Defense Commission, and have faithfully served as the Minister of Defense and Minister of Justice. But I digress. Ocia is a beautiful country and its people deserve a nation with security and safety, but never will I give this freedom and security without collaboration with the Ocian people. In order for a nation to work perfectly and flawlessly, all citizens must put the nation’s interests before that of their own. Only then will be able to overcome our enemies.

Anya: And finally, with what time we have left, the nationalist community within Ocia has made you their personal savior. Just last week, in a poll posed to the Ocian public on their opinion of you, Mr. Radchenko, shows that 78.9% of the Ocian population approves of your leadership tactics, and prominent Ocian nationalists, and nationalist organizations, have expressed that they were in support of you since you became Chairman of the National Defense Commission. Members of the leftist parties made it clear that they were the conditional opposition, deeming your tactics ‘too aggressive’ and lacking diplomacy. How would you respond to those who support you, and those who don’t?

Kolya: Well I can only say this - to my nationalist brothers and comrade patriots, Ocia will never be oppressed while true Ocians like us are standing between the scum who wish to oppress and destroy our society, and we, the vanguards of national pride, will always lead the way for our people to follow. To my opposition, I wish to make clear, that there would be no Ocia for you to criticize me in if I, as well as the Ocian high command, hadn’t acted ‘aggressively’. It’s this aggression that has destroyed Katyusha, which communistic ideals that stole from the people, financed the terrorists and pirates that attacked our vessels January of last year. It was this aggression that drove the Ashkenatza out of Lucern, thus liberating our people from foreign oppression. I wish anyone that disapproves this aggression to step forward and tell that to the families of brave Ocian soldiers that died resisting wars of imperialism. As for those who have no opinion on the subject, I’d advise you look at our situation, and realize that the ONPP wishes an outcome great for Ocia, and in turn, will be great for you.

Anya: Thank you Mr. Chairman, that was a very moving statement, and I would like to thank you for the time you have spared for us.

Kolya: Always a pleasure.

Anya: That was Kolya Radchenko, esteemed Ocian governmental and military official and now leader of the Ocian National Patriotism Party, a new nationalist party with goals of a strong Ocia, with one united Ocian people, as well as strengthening the Ocian defense forces, military and judiciary system. Reporting from Generalissimo Radchenko’s Alpine Retreat, I’m Anya Mikhailova.

Ashkenatzi Nuclear Ambition Sparks Outrage

The Pain Nuclear Warfare has caused seems unkown to Ashkenatza

The Pain Nuclear Warfare has caused seams unkown to Ashkenatza

In a controversial move earlier this month, Ashkenatzi’s newly appointed Minister of foreign affairs, Szhmuel Astopov, proudly flaunted his government’s nuclear program ambitions in a series of statements announcing a future detonation of a 630 megaton nuclear device, as well as several others. Later on, outcry from the peace loving nations of Micras who called for a nuclear non-proliferation treaty prompted the head of the Ashkenatzi government to threaten to disown the new foreign minister comparing him to a, “12 year old with a caffeine rush.” In response to the massive opposition shown by both his own and foreign governments, Astopov was forced to retract his statements and ironically focus his efforts on creating a more affable image for Ashkenatza which has pursued an aggressive fascist inspired foreign policy since its formation.

Askhenatzi Government “Posers?”

The controversy surrounding Ashkenatza did not however conclude after statements were retracted; its foreign minister went so far as to call one of the nation’s envisioned Nuclear warheads ‘Yahweh’ (a sacred Hebrew word referring to the creator). When this apparent blasphemy was highlighted by several individuals, the Ashkenatzi government denied being officially Jewish even while it maintained its slogan of being a ‘proud jewish nation on Micras.’

Small Commonwealth Enlargement Engulfing Micras

The Small Commonwealths Economy is rapidly expanding

The Small Commonwealth's Economy is rapidly expanding

This past month as the Small Commonwealth marked the ascension of its 11th member state (Hurmu) the changing identity and purpose of the rapidly transforming organization is beginning to emerge as more and more nations flock to join Micras’ newest club. Matt Kovac Reports.      Some months ago it appeared the Shirerothian based clique of Benacian nations was searching for an identity as it deliberated on where to draw the line on issues of political and economic cooperation. Since then, nearly half of the Commonwealth’s members have integrated into a joint SC Economic Zone with a single currency and banking system. Though a rift between members still exists on some other issues, an agreement has been made for a future Small Commonwealth Court and for Commonwealth-wide intellectual copyright laws. The SCs new unity has also become apparent with its recent drastic improvement in relations with Ashkenatza (now a full commonwealth member), a nation involved in a month long dispute with the organization, a dispute in which Ashkenatza claimed the SC was bent on conquering it. Additionally, although the notion of the SC becoming a military/political bloc is flatly rebuked by it’s officials, the organization’s actions of partitioning post-war Amokolia into military control zones shed some light on the possibility of future SC military cooperation. Erik Mortis recently suggested that future aspects of such cooperation could include the commonwealth intervening in conflicts between ‘enemy states.’

Though much progress has been made in many fields, the commonwealth still faces the challenge of establishing a new image apart from that of it being a ‘Shirerothian Superstate;’ an image which invokes memories of the Grand Commonwealth, a large alliance of growing similarity to the SC which disintegrated into conflict following a standoff amongst its largest members namely Babkha.

As the small commonwealth debates the readmission of its 12th member (Amokolia) it seems that without a doubt that the enlargement of the SC will amount to no less then the creation of a new Micras

Micras’ “Axis of Evil”

Radchenko commenting on the fascists

Radchenko commenting on the fascists

Last month’s Amokolian War manifested more then mayhem, claims Ocia’s leadership, it manifested an “Axis of evil states.” The term was used by the Ocian government to describe a series of several states that have signed military pacts with Ashkenazata including Shireroth, Antica and Hamland. Ocian National Defence Commission Chairmen Kolya Radchenko further elaborated on this statement in an exclusive interview with MillenniumNews (available later this week): “The so called democracy, Hamland, always have attempted to play the part of the pious neutral state. My government however exposed their masked tyranny shortly before the war; we were of course proven right. Everyone could clearly see their intentions when the self proclaimed ‘peacekeepers’ allowed their fascist collaborators to use Hammish territory as a staging ground to launch an unprovoked assault against my innocent motherland.”

Later, Radchenko went on to discuss a document being internally circulated throughout Ocia entitled the “Hamland Guilt Proclamation” which states that since the ‘relentless’ attack on the Ocian motherland could not have been executed without Hamland’s assistance, therefore they are responsible for all the damages and territorial loses inflicted on the motherland. It is not known whether this document is solely a Ministry of Information propaganda circulation or a statement on what the Federation’s response will be to Hamland’s war crimes. Analysts however cite that some will no doubt dub this post-war rhetoric as saber rattling while others will suspect that after several controversial accusations were made during a dispute between the two states amidst a spy scandal months ago that Ocia’s enemies will claim a deeper, perhaps more vindictive, ploy may be in the making.

Ocia Vows to Destroy Ashkenatzi Hubris

October 16, 2009

In a speech marking the unveiling of the “Motherland Calls” monument, honoring those who defended the besieged city of Lucern during the war, Ocian President Matt Kovac promised to avenge the ‘merciless’ and ‘relentless’ attacks made on Ocian sovereign territory during the war which ravaged both the Benacian and Keltan continents for weeks. “The Great Patriotic War Against Fascism” as Ocians call it (more commonly referred to as the Amokolian war) resulted in a resounding strategic victory for Ashkenatza and her allies who recently partitioned the former Ocian territory of Amokolia as well as other Ocian overseas territories. The war however; left the Ocian Federation proudly on the moral high ground as its government is quick to point out, and proved the ‘tactical knowledge inferiority’ of the Ashkenatzi army who allegedly relied on Babkhan warlord Ardishar Khan for constant guidance.

“You Would Not Bare the shame. You Resisted; sacrificing your life for Freedom, Justice and the Independence of your motherland.”

-Inscription on the “Ocian Motherland Calls” Monument, referring to how no Ocians surrendered.

In an upcoming address to the Ocian Federation the President is expected to announce the severing of all diplomatic ties and agreements with Hamland, Shireroth and Antica for their, “grave infringement of non aggression clauses in previously signed treaties.” Ocia’s leadership is also expected to announce their rebuilding strategies for areas which were damaged in the conflict and their new ideas for the rearmament of the Ocian Defence Forces. The overall intriguing theme of the speech will be Marshal Kovac’s commentary on the post war relationship between Ocia and the Small Commonwealth Bloc.

Close Up: Does Hamland Really Have a Democracy?

August 19, 2009

It seems that Hamland’s political elite do not hesitate when an opportunity presents itself for them to boast about the nation’s so called ‘democracy’ or it’s superficially motivated ‘Social Programs,” but does this essentially one party state really posses the transparency it claims to have? An Editorial by Matt Kovac

Since the nation’s formation over two years ago the results of Hamland’s annual elections has always been a resounding victory for the Hamland National Party founded by the nation’s longtime leader King Lewis who has been Hamland’s Head of Government and Head of State almost uninterruptedly since the the nation’s founding. Despite government claims, Hamland’s rubberstamp  parliament has no real power over the nation’s affairs since constitutional provisions give Hamland’s top man almost absolute power. Even in times of despair Hamland’s So called ‘opposition parties’ (which are really anything but, considering they are made up of parties such as the ‘Union of Lewists’ -that speaks for itself) rarely criticize King Lewis’ flawless leadership or that of his Government which seems more concerned with maintaining its image by creating poorly formed and virtually useless Social programs and advertising their artificial integrity (Hamland’s Self righteous autocrat even goes so far as to claim to be the authority on who is Socialist and who is not).

As a frustrated Hammish Newcomer recently seemed to be suggesting, playing the part of martyr and vitreous authority has done little for the slowly declining nation, and this dissatisfaction is likely to fall on the death ears of the Hammish party elite and its tyrant who mercifully decided ‘not to delete’ (but instead edit) the criticism being expressed, probably suggesting that opposition is usually silenced, while calling criticism of him ‘out of line’- hypocritically utilizing the notorious and often hot headed tactics of Ocia’s Kolya Radchenko, a favorite of Lewis to ridicule.

With the recent election of an old regime crony and its recent posturing amidst a spy scandal, it seems that Hamland is pursuing old tactics and not a new outlook which will likely contribute to its demise.

Ocian President Dubs Hammish Claims as an ‘Elaborate Scheme’

August 9, 2009

In a brief statement to MillenniumNews today several members of Ocia’s National Defence Commission called Hammish claims that the Ocian Federation attempted to annex Hamland by a series of ‘infiltrations’ as an elaborate scheme fabricated by Hamland’s Government in accordance with Bosworth. According to reports, Ocian President Matt Kovac told the Commission earlier today that he was considering approving an investigation into suspicions that Hamland’s government indeed acted with Bosworth in the Ferando Epsilon scandal in which Ocia claims Bosworth’s leadership fabricated charges on a long inactive citizen and claimed them to be Ocian spy with hopes of proving it with set up circumstantial evidence. Kovac told the Commission responsible for the Federation’s Security that there is ‘too many coincidences in both of the schemes for them not to be connected.’

Later, Ocia’s Minister of the Interior and Finance released a statement underlining the purpose of the Federation’s several security agencies saying that, “Ocian Government Agencies responsible for state Security operate to protect the state with any means. Any Ocian Agency which has these tasks is charged with investigating foreign nations which pose a threat, and the only espionage which is ever approved is counter espionage.” The Minister later went on to point out inconsistencies in Hammish Government statements which at a time “rejected and denied Hamland utilizing espionage” to statements which now say that “Hamland has considered espionage.” The Ocian Government also says that for months Hammish Citizens have been applying for Ocian Citizenship using both real names and artificial ones reinforcing suspicions that Hamland has made several attempts at spying on the Ocian Federation with little success, this alone claimed the minister, “would warrant a high degree of suspicion and counter measures to maintain state security.”

Alexandrian Conference Brings No Results

July 26, 2009

The recent and abrupt conclusion of the ‘Mirmar Conference‘ in Alexandria showed an influentially weaker empire searching for an identity in a post-superpower Micras as it moved to condemn what was presumably the “Ocain threat on Kelta” after a series of Ocian military exercises stirred up tensions in the volatile region. Despite the Ocian Defence Ministry’s continual insistence that the several exercises which were pre-planned months in advance were only to test national defence readiness, Hamland’s King Lewis maintained that they were attempts to ‘provoke’ his nation which shares a sizeable border with the Ocian Federation.

According to Alexandria’s Minster of Foreign Affairs who presided over the conference, its resolution to the perceived ‘threats’ was to ensure security to their Ketlan Allies and threaten action against Ocia if it attacked another state. In return, Ocian Prime Minister Generalissimo Kolya Radchenko called the claims of Mirmar Conference participants as ‘delusional’ and ‘misguided’ while adding that “[Ocia] has never had hostile intentions when it comes to our relations with our Keltan partners and we remain unconcerned with the threats non-existant of Alexandrian power.” Ocian President Matt Kovac echoed this response in a speech marking the second anniversary of the founding of the Ocian Federation, “Ocia today is an open, peace-loving and democratic country. We do not threaten anyone and have no intention of using force to achieve our aims. We have no need to impose our will on other peoples. But today’s Micras contains many worrying threats and challenges and a strong military capability and strong army therefore remain the guarantee of Ocia’s national security and continued development.”

Radchenko Slams Hamish Parliament War Threats

July 6, 2009

President of the Ocian Federation Matt Kovac recently approved a series of military exercises to demonstrate the newly reunified Federation’s defence capabilities- actions which a government spokesman told MillenniumNews that had been planned for months. The move however was not taken lightly by a member of Hammish Parliament who earlier today implored the Hamish government to declare war on the Ocian Federation after it announced ‘operation Valiant Javelin,’ a series of air force patrol maneuvers taking place just kilometers away from Hamish Airspace. Hamland’s King Lewis called parliamentary representative CJ Miller “outspken” and flatly denied the prospect of war in a communiqué to Ocia’s President however He accused Ocia of attempting to provoke his Kingdom while also commenting that he believed that the often swaggered leadership of both Bosworth and its satellite thrives and has always thrived on conflict, King Lewis also suggested that they enjoy creating volatile situations.

In an exclusive press release Chief of Defence Staff Kolya Radchenko said he was quote, “troubled by Hamland’s lack of judgment and hasty decisions on the matter.” The Ministry of Defence claims that the Federation is well within its rights to carryout military exercises within its territory and international territory. Ocian President Matt Kovac later commented that “if [the hammish government] had a direct concern about the issue they should have addressed it in a frank but respectful way which they did not.” Radchenko later blamed Bosworth and it’s alleged ‘satellite state’ for the militarization of central Kelta citing their past frequent aggressive and provocative troop movements which they maintain have trigged the escalation. Ocia’s military strongman claimed that Bosworth’s ‘servants’ Anthony Montague and Guido Zambelis have been pressuring their ‘masters’ to commence an armed conflict after their forced exile into a Bosworthian refugee camp. Radchenko ended the press release by warning foreign nations to not involve themselves with domestic Ocian affairs saying that they would create a ‘backlash’ since Ocia, “does not look externally, nor pay attention to external commentary, when it comes to internal affairs.”
