Trinovantium Signs Historic Treaty
Yesterday, Trinovantium’s leader Chancellor Tywysydd signed a historic accord, ratifying Ocia’s land transferal of what intermicronational media has dubbed “North Dalmantia.” The disputed lands which were attacked by Adraisia earlier this spring were originally being transferred to Trinovantium but the war seemed to have delayed this making yesterdays agreement a new symbol of peace for the region.
The treaty which seems to reflect the Macau transfer in 99, guarantees “Northern Dalmantian’s” right to self determination. It also insists that the region must operate in a judicial system similar to Ocia’s and it gives the Ocian Defence Forces rights to a garrison to protect local ethnic Ocians. On another topic, the treaty also demands the disbandment of Trinovantium’s so called “DMZ” or Demilitarized zone which had been protested by the Ocian government who called it a symbol of aggression.
The move seemed to have been a step in the right direction towards bettering the relations between the two nations after a period of cold diplomacy following the UEG break up earlier this year. Both Ocia’s President Michael Dervin and the Chancellor of Trinovantium were in agreement that this will hopefully improve relations between the nations.
