As Ocians head to the polls today and tomorrow the world will be watching to see which party will become the new face of Ocia. According to the national electoral commission, the Liberal Democracy of Ocia (LDO) has substantially lost popularity in these elections after disarray amongst party ranks following the departure of long time party leader Michael Dervin.

While times aren’t looking good for the LDO a new political party has gained influence in Ocia. This new political party, the Conservative Party of Ocia founded by King kakali after this months merger with Luthoria has gained immense popularity, in particular with the Luthorian minority within the Federation.

The Green Party of Ocia is also benefiting with its recent coalition with the conservative party of Ocia. The party pledges to form a coalition with the CPO as well as encourage new green energy policies for Ocia.

Matt Kovac, who turned down the position of party leader of the LDO last month recently accepted King Kakali’s offer to become Deputy Party leader. Kovac, who is also the leader of the Green Party called the move “a symbol of friendship and unity between the two parties.”

While it is likely that the winners for the first time will be Conservative, the micronational world will never the less be watching this historic and ever more important parliamentary election in Ocia.
