Thanks to the persistent efforts of Liam of Blavatsky, odds are looking good for a Shirithian football league despite a shortage of support from citizens. The pending league, presumably to be dubbed the Shireroth Football/Soccer Association, is currently planned to have four founding teams, two from Yardistan, one from Straylight (playing from a stadium on the mainland, pending approval), and one unannounced, of which only one has begun formation (Yardistan Annexed FC, owned and managed by Jess of Naudia’Diva). Expansion teams are planned pending a successful first season.

Investigation has shown that Adám Perryman, President of the FMF, has chosen manage a team himself in the SFSA. This development should bring more attention to and interest in the SFSA, Liam hopes. “Shireroth has always been premier among micronations. It’s time we returned to sports scene on Micras. I hope that this is just the beginning of sports in Shireroth. There’s so much available to us, and it’s about time we took it.”
