The King of Hamland today issued a message to the micronational world showing his support for “any country who willingly puts the working man first”.

The King issued this message as a result of the new organisation forming in order to combat communism. The King showed his disdain in his message calling it a “new organisation which is merely designed to forcibly change nations to run in an imperialist style” whilst also accusing it of being undemocratic.

The King of Hamland has openly said he is a socialist and he is well known for his left wing views. It is also known that he is very freindly with the nation of Col and visits there very often. This could mean that in the event of a war that Hamland could possibly be the only Kingdom to side with communists.

In the past the King has supported a heavily nationalised Hammish economy and he even had a short term socialist party.

Although Hamland is a Kingdom, the King is considerably left-wing, and thus he is able to run the country as it’s main leader. There is also only one party in Hamland which was founded by the King and strongly supports him. As well as that, Taeland’s previously revolutionary group does not show anger at the monarchy saying “they have good intentions politically” but they say “All we fight for now is independence”. Tonaria, the other state controlled by Hamland now no longer shows much autonomy, but is considered a member of a united Kingdom. Could this be a United Soviet State of Hamland?
